The Property Decision is an independent publication about buying and everything next to it. It exists because the useful version of this subject is usually the one nobody has time to write.

The tone we aim for is methodical, transaction-focused, unromantic about property — we assume you are intelligent, busy, and able to tell when you are being flattered.

What we cover

The site is organised into 6 sections:

• Buying — Offers, chains, timelines and the order the decisions actually arrive in.
• Selling — Pricing, agents, viewings and what actually moves a sale along.
• Renting — Tenancies, deposits, notice and the rights on both sides of a lease.

• Running a Home — Maintenance, service charges, bills and the cost of ownership after completion.
